Hi there, I'm Samantha!


I was born and raised in Copper Center, Alaska. Growing up, I have spent a lot of time in the outdoors fishing, hunting, berry picking, hiking...just enjoying the beauty of Alaska. I now spend time making memories with my husband and two children. Watching my son catching his first fish, my daughter in "Aw" being in blueberry heaven, and my husband teaching our kids the importance of harvesting makes me want to hold on to these memories forever. Like any other parent, I too, take the time to capture a little piece of that special moment and bring the memory back home to reminisce. And that is why it is important to me to make sure I capture your special moments to cherish forever.


After completing High School, I went to the Kenai Peninsula College, in Soldotna, Alaska. I graduated in 2009 with a degree in Digital Arts, Photography. Even though we learned different types of photography, my main passion was taking photos of Nature and Wildlife. Coming back to my hometown, there was a need for a portrait photographer for weddings, seniors, family, etc. I then decided to add portraits under my belt.


After having my first child, I decided that I needed to just focus on taking care of him and put photography off to the side. Same went with my second baby. As time went by with them growing and my energy back, the love of photography came back as well! I now have little helpers by my side carrying props and my camera gear. It's wonderful to have them be with me on this journey.
